Recreational League Summer 2025 (6 Weeks)

    Tuesdays - 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Registration deadline is Sunday, June 22, 2025

    What is "Recreational League" play?

A recreational league is a group of pickleball players that play in organized matches throughout a predetermined period of time. You will play seven games, each with a different partner and against a different pair of opponents (this is referred to as a Round Robin). All games are played to 11 (win by 2). Each league will be monitored by a "Team Captain" for their skill level. This is for recreational purposes only; no standings will be recorded and no medals awarded.

For more information on skill levels click HERE.

Obviously, we cannot control the weather; however, we will offer extended play for several weeks following the last session if needed. Rain dates - August 11 -September 6, 2025.

Please bring your own paddle and outdoor balls.  We have a water fountain/bottle filler available at the courts.  Wear tennis/court shoes and comfortable clothing.

    No refunds or credits.

If you would be willing to be a SUB for an alternate date/time, please click HERE to sign up.

MEN'S League Play (MLP) 4.0 Team Pickleball Format Summer 2025 (6 Weeks)

This is now an ALL MEN'S League Play format.

    PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY YOURSELF.

    Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 PM

Registration deadline is Sunday, June 22,2025.

PLAYERS: A total of 16 players will play on 4 courts. This is on a first-come basis. No refunds or credits will be given after this date. All players must register individually on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will have the ability to list your preferred partner.

For more information on skill levels click HERE.

FORMAT: Based on the MLP style format, a team consists of 4 players. There are 4 games in a match - female doubles, male doubles, and two mixed doubles with each player having a defined mixed partner. The match winner is determined by the number of games won. If, after the 4 games, the match is tied, the match winner will be determined by which team has the highest point total of all 4 games. If the total score for each team is equal, the match winner will be determined by a coin toss (or a dream breaker – every player on the team plays 4 points of singles until a team reaches 21 points).

DRAFT/REDRAFT:  Players will be drafted to their teams (and notified by their team captain).

SCORING:  Each game is rally scoring to 21, win by 2. Players change ends at 11. Once the first team reaches 20 points, rally scoring is frozen and the winning point must be obtained while serving. Once the second team reaches 18 points, rally scoring is frozen and they can only score when serving.

SERVE/RECEIVE:  Partners do not switch sides of the court when serving/receiving. Player A for each team serves and receives on the right side when the score is even and Player B serves and receives from the left side when the score is odd. (The players may switch sides once serve and receive have been obtained). The players may switch court position on the side change (11 points), but must stay on the chosen side for the rest of the match. They must tell the opposing team if they are changing court position at the side change.

TIMEOUTS:  Each team has one timeout per side, per game.

SIDE/SERVE CHOICE:  Teams can use a coin flip or the #1 or 2 methods to determine who will serve first and who picks the side.  During mixed doubles this method is used and the ‘losing’ team will announce their mixed partner pairs first. The ‘winning’ team will then choose their mixed teams and who they will compete against.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to DUPR scoring system all subs must be approved by the Team Captain, at the Team Captain's discretion.

Please wear your TEAM's COLOR as assigned by your league captain. Bring your own paddle and OUTDOOR balls. We have a water fountain/bottle filler available at the courts.  Wear tennis/court shoes and comfortable clothing

Obviously, we cannot control the weather; however, we will offer extended play for several weeks following the last session, if needed.

    Recreational Ladder League - Men's 3.5+ - Summer 2025 (6 Weeks)

    Saturdays 8:30-10:30 AM

Registration deadline is Sunday, June 22, 2025.

PLAYERS: This MEN ONLY 3.5+ Ladder League is limited to 20 players on 5 courts. You do not need a partner to join a ladder league. You will be placed on a court each week with three other people. Each week you will have one to two different players on your court

    LADDER LEAGUE OVERVIEW

The ladder format is designed so that players mostly play others of similar skill level. One to two players out of four on each court will move up or down the ladder (or one court) each week according to whether they have the highest or the lowest point total. The two end courts will only have one player move. The remaining players will stay on the same court. The next week's play will start off where the previous week ended. Week #1 will be determined by the player ratings. Weekly league performance in the league will determine court assignments for future weeks.

For more information on skill levels click HERE.

Obviously, we cannot control the weather; however, we will offer extended play for several weeks following the last session, if needed. Rain dates - May 26-June 26, 2025.

Please bring your own paddle and outdoor balls.  We have a water fountain/bottle filler available at the courts.  Wear tennis/court shoes and comfortable clothing

    No refunds or credits.
