    Recreational League Mixed Doubles 3.5 Spring 2025 (6 Weeks)

    This is the LADIES' side of the Registration.


    Thursdays - 6:30-8:30 PM


    Registration deadline is Sunday, April 6, 2025.

    PLEASE REGISTER ONLY FOR YOURSELF.

    PLAYERS: The Mixed Doubles 3.5 League is for 6 Ladies and 6 Men. You will play with your partner/assigned partner the entire time and rotate playing against other male/female couples. You do not need a partner to join this league.  

    All players must register individually on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will have the ability to list your preferred partner. Your male partner will need to register separately and ASAP, preferably at or near the same time you do. This is the link to the Men's registration

    Obviously, we cannot control the weather; however, we will offer extended play for several weeks following the last session, if needed. Rain dates - May 26-June 26, 2025.

    Please bring your own paddle and outdoor balls.  We have a water fountain/bottle filler available at the courts.  Wear tennis/court shoes and comfortable clothing

    Ready to take your game to the next level?

    These clinics are two-hour instructional programs that are ideal for the current 3.0 level players who have the desire to build and improve their skill level.

    For more information on skill levels click HERE.

    CLINIC CONTENT:  These skills clinics are led by a certified Pickleball instructor along with accomplished volunteers.  Participants will be taken through drills to improve shots needed to become more skillful players. Participants will be taught proper technique for serves/deep returns/body positioning; cross net dinks and when to use it/footwork; lobs/court positioning. Instructors will observe during game play to give constructive in-game coaching advice.

    SPACE: Limited to the first 8 individuals that register/pay (per clinic).  We will reserve 2 courts for this event.  No walk-ins. Each participant must register individually due to the waiver confirmation required. If you are attending with a spouse/friend, please notate it in the additional comments section at the end of the registration form. When registering, if the class says “not available” it is sold out.  Please choose another date.

    INSTRUCTOR BIO: Rozanne (Renee) Stanton's pickleball journey began in January 2016.  She became a volunteer on the Scott Township pickleball board when they opened Evansville’s first outdoor courts in 2018. Since then, she has been an avid pickleball advocate by teaching beginners, running tournaments, leagues and drill clinics to include the first MLP format league. She was recently voted pickleball committee chair of the Scott Township recreational booster club.

    Introduction to Pickleball is a two-hour beginner program that is ideal for players brand new to this sport or for those who have only been playing a short while. This clinic is not intended for anyone with a 2.5 or above skill rating.

    CLINIC CONTENT: You will learn the basic fundamentals such as how to hold the paddle, the difference between an outside and indoor ball, court lines, rules, pickleball terminology, basic shots, dinking, serving, positioning and scoring. You will be able to play some practice mini games to incorporate what you learned along with attempting court strategy.     INSTRUCTOR BIO: Jerold Blackburn is a current Professional Pickleball Registry coach, Board Member of Rivertown Pickleball of Southern Indiana and the Lead Instructor for this group. Jerold has been playing pickleball for the past 4 years. Jerold has a passion to instruct participants of all levels and ages, helping them develop stronger skills while building confidence and self-esteem. With his enthusiasm and energy for the game, participants can expect to improve skills and learn strategies to help motivate and encourage a better connection with pickleball. Jerold's goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable to ensure a fantastic experience. Jerold has taught more than 200 people how to play and improve their game. 

    SPACE: Limited to the first 12 individuals that register/pay (per clinic).  We will reserve 3 courts for this event. No walk-ins.  Each participant must register individually due to the waiver confirmation required.
